(Thanks to Wario64 on Twitter for the tip and clarification)
While most of the location news we’ve had to share lately has come from the MidWest, today the news come from California, San Jose to be exact. At a mall called the Westfield Oakridge Mall a new arcade has opened its doors called Fun Factory. The company has multiple locations in Hawaii and a few others places such as Louisiana, South Carolina, Georgia and California.
I came across this new location from a tweet which has a few pictures shared through that avenue. They have a modern arcade setup, including some LCD cabinets running Tekken and Super Street Fighter IV; shooters like Deadstorm Pirates, Terminator Salvation and Time Crisis 3 and at least a pair of Initial D5s for racers (Not sure if that is a 5 or 6). Finally they also have Fruit Ninja FX. These pictures below via Wario64’s TwitPic Account Here is Fun Factory’s Facebook page.
This looks near identical to the location they used to have in Kansas City until it closed a few years back (And Zonkers Arcade ended up replacing them a few years after that). Nice to see them opening more stores on the mainland!
Good. the more, the better!
Glad to see 50th State Coin Op opening a new site. I wish them well. Sydney at 50th State has always been great to work with. Good people here!
Looks like 2 Initial D 5’s judging from the marquee.
