This might be a poorly viewed post thanks to there being only a few items, and the Labor Day weekend for the US, so many readers are travelling – hopefully you come across a good arcade in your travels!
Podcast #8: Sean and I discuss what we’ve been up to for the past couple of weeks as well as recent news ran on the blog. I am working on an article about prototype games you can play at the Galloping Ghost Arcade but discuss some newer prototypes that are somewhat more recent (Cars, American Idol).
I should also reiterate that what all sorts of sites are saying is the “largest arcade machine in the world” is still inaccurate. Unfortunately Guinness isn’t considering Sega or Namco or Atari or Taito’s huge game cabinets. My article on that is here in case you didn’t see it already.
Disney Quest Final Video – Thanks to Nick Lombardo at The Arcade Hunters, you can get a feel how the Disney Quest arcade venue is in Florida before it closes at the beginning of 2016. It is 50 minutes long but there are a lot of gems to see. RIP DQ:
