A Quick Look At The Arcade Games Of ACOS 2025

The annual Autumn Coin-Op Show (ACOS) is a small event put on in the UK by a group of UK-based companies, including Electrocoin, UDC, Harry Levy, JNC Sales, and Sega Amusements. Thanks to Kevin Williams of The Stinger Report for these photos and the information. As always, these are listed alphabetically; there isn’t a ton to discuss here, but in case you’re wondering what is being focused on for Europe ahead of the bigger trade shows on the horizon, here you go:

Crown Direct/Harry Levy

Starting off with Crown Direct/Harry Levy, you’ll notice that booths for this show were small, focusing on the main sellers for their networks at the moment. As such, they like most below had no new-new games, but I hadn’t seen this exact configuration for the Angry Birds whacker before, and the Hot Wheels Ultimate Speedway redemption game from Coastal Amusements has new side covers.

Electrocoin

While Electrocoin didn’t have pinball at IAAPA Europe (owing to Stern having their own booth with another European distributor of theirs), they brought a couple to this show, along with their latest redemption titles. One of those is yet another which uses the old Mr. Do! name off Universal:

JNC Sales

JNC make a lot of their business from their used equipment sales, but do also regularly sell some new games from a variety of companies; here, they mainly had Furious Speed, a big dual screen racing game from the Chinese outfit Rainbow Boy. Kevin has pointed out that it will receive a software update before hitting the market to make the game fit more with Western tastes (as well as some control changes – likely omitting the D-Pad type buttons). They also had a few cranes and merchandisers, including The Container (which Amusement Source International are carrying Stateside).

Sega Amusements

Sega Amusements’ ACOS line-up carried a lot through from IAAPA Europe, but on a smaller scale; though the big LAI Games titles, 501 Fun’s works and Subsoccer Arcade were absent this time, their Mini Cube Prize World crane/merchandizer system again took pride of place, among other redemption pieces not pictured here (e.g. High Five Tickets and ICE’s Smash N Win). The new standard cabinet for Apex Rebels and the 2-Player edition of On Target were also there, as can be seen below. IAAPA in Orlando next month will bring forth more new titles from them, so stay tuned for announcements on those.

UDC

Finally, UDC also had a pretty identical lineup as to what was at IAAPA Europe last month, including the newer Playmore pushers and Ace’s Shooting Carnival shooting galley game (they had a lot more from the latter company last year). Increasingly important for them though is their rhythm game repertoire, which started with distributing StepManiaX and now continues with them carrying Arccer’s Dance Show. Will certain other companies finally speed up in bringing the rhythm games they are already selling in North America over to Europe too off the back of this? That remains to be seen…

Thanks again to Kevin Williams for sending us all of the above information. The show was not big as is usual for it (with its focus being more on networking), but from the sounds of things was very well attended, and does indicate a few trends leading into IAAPA next month, as well as next year’s EAG Expo (the larger UK amusement trade show). Which of the games seen at ACOS 2025 interest you most?
