We’re past April Fools Day now (where this year we had a fuzzy bobcat-inspired joke to play with pinball), and thus we come back to real news. Perhaps this one normally would have come along yesterday, but didn’t so that people could believe in it. Either way, Raw Thrills have teased that they have a new game coming to arcades based upon Netflix’s Stranger Things – so let’s take a quick look and discuss.
Stranger Things Arcade
As a quick note first, we do not have especially much to share on this title at the moment. The game was not at Amusement Expo 2026, so we did not get a chance to play it; although as you will soon see from what was posted online, at least some people out there already have.
This teaser, which doesn’t tell us much more than the IP being applied and that it exists, was posted to Raw Thrills’ socials today. We were already told to expect something new from them sooner than later, and had there been talk of this bubbling under in one or two online arcade spaces in the past few days too – given they involve details that have not been officially announced yet, for common courtesy reasons we won’t talk about those directly here. However, they are out there if one digs a little for them.
One thing that is more publicly out there though, is how someone under the comments of their LinkedIn posted this photo of herself in front of the cabinet, saying that “it was SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!”. She is not an employee of RT, and it wasn’t said where she played it (it looks like a Dave & Busters location from that table on the left) or what the game is exactly like. But it does show us that whatever this is, it is not the typical Raw Thrills cabinet design; it’s almost like a small range attraction due to the size.

It’s hard to speculate much from what has been given, but considering the fact that this seemingly does not involve Play Mechanix (who are known to be working with Raw Thrills on a major upcoming project), it’s possible this is something with a slightly smaller scale gameplay-wise, i.e. ticket redemption. That’s not for definite, but we have seen RT focus on redemption games (albeit always with video screens) a lot more lately, so it would not be surprising. Exactly what shape it could take there remains to be seen.
Of course, we will share more information about this title as soon as we can. Usually whenever Raw Thrills throw a teaser out like this, a full reveal isn’t too far off, so expect one in the coming days and weeks. Until then, what do you think or hope that Stranger Things Arcade is as a game?
