The first arcade trade show of 2026 is taking place this week, as the EAG Expo 2026 is set to get underway in London’s Excel center from the 13th. As always, we will have detailed coverage and information on this from our UK sources that are attending, but before that, we have got a small preview just before the show begins. Note that this is all what’s been previewed by the companies themselves so far (and sourced by Ted), so it is to the best of our knowledge, and there could be one or two surprises still to come…
Bandai Namco Amusement Europe
Bandai Namco have been teasing their EAG lineup in chunks as far back as December, as mentioned in a Newsbytes that month, so some of this is ground already covered; however their full preview is out now. In addition to UK show launches for The Future and Mini World from Superwin, they will again have their own hit shooter GoldStorm Pirates, which appeared pre-release last year and has now been rolled out to numerous locations (with more to come). BNAE’s extensive European distribution network also means we will see new games from Raw Thrills (Godzilla Kaiju Wars DX, Jackpot Racer), JET Games (Giga Shot), and several others. And it wouldn’t be a Bandai Namco booth without the presence of their little yellow guy, as their latest Pac-Man pieces like Whack-The-Ghosties, Baller Jr and the kiddie ride will be there too 😉
Electrocoin
One of the bigger arcade products of the show this year will be coming from Electrocoin, who as already covered in detail will have the European debut of Dance Dance Revolution World and first appearance of the ‘Universal’ model cabinets. The full announcement of this attracted much attention from the game’s playerbase, with tons of views coming in for our article on it; stay tuned to the site and YouTube channel as we will likely have some of the first footage of play on the Universal cabinet out there. Besides DDR, Electrocoin’s EAG lineup will be their usual mix of redemption (including a new sequel to the old faithful ticket roulette wheel Colorama) and pinball from Stern, who they distribute in the UK.
Sega Amusements International
Last time around, Sega Amusements were one of the main companies on both the main EAG and Social Immersive Entertainment Expo sides, with the likes of Alpha Ops VR Strike and social attractions from 501 Fun. This year in arcades, their new Putt It! Par-Tee and Simon Arcade redemption games will take center stage, together with the return of Daytona Championship USA in its latest Motion Edition cabinets. Like Bandai Namco, SAI operate just as much as a third party distributor in Europe alongside their own works, so additionally expect plenty of redemption titles from ICE, Cyberpunk 2077: Turf Wars and Ubisoft All-Star VR from LAI Games, and in an unusual occurrence, a game that Namco are selling in the States – IGS/Baohui’s Speed Rider 4DX. Social entertainment has lots going on too in the form of showings for Subsoccer Arcade and the new Neoshuffle, which SAI are debuting in association with Good Times Tech.
UDC
DDR won’t be the only dance game on hand at EAG, as via stalwart distributors UDC, the Step Revolution team will be on hand as usual for their showcase of StepManiaX, which always pulls in a audience. Also putting in a regular appearance will be some of Ace Amusement’s works, which UDC have the UK rights to; they have been known to debut numerous new examples of these here before they appear in the US, but from their previews so far it doesn’t seem that will be the case this year outside of Jet Ski Racer and the vertical screen Bikers Madness. Still, it could be that they simply haven’t mentioned all of them, or other games they may have, for that matter. If not, their showcase of Elaut’s new E-Claw 2.0 and Playmore’s pushers will more than make up for that with those more interested in prize games.
Others
Of course, besides the four main European arcade names we usually prioritize, there will be lots more at EAG. One company returning to the fore after giving last year’s show a miss is Instance Automatics, UK distributors of UNIS product. Their preview mentions Spin City, Jump Master, and a whole host of redemption from them; it would be surprising if they don’t include other newer UNIS titles like Turbo Nova, but again, perhaps they haven’t been announced in advance. Also of interest in arcades will be Retro Arcade Specialists, who typically deal with pinball from the likes of Jersey Jack and Barrels of Fun, but will now additionally be representing Unico’s products in the UK. Whether the Nova Blast will be there is unclear right now, but they are teasing some kind of surprise, so watch this space…
Then on the more interactive attraction-focused side of things, there are a few curiosities that have been previewed in advance, including the new Robobike motion motorbike simulator, and Game Volt’s foray into projection shooting galleries, Hotshots. There will almost certainly be more than this too, with other names on the UK scene like JNC Sales, Harry Levy, and Cosmic Leisure also attending (though they tend to have more of a redemption focus), so keep an eye out for our full review following the show’s conclusion.
