January is finally coming to a close and with that, we have some game release news to share with you. As stated in the headline, Bandai Namco has begun shipping out two games that they debuted at IAAPA 2025 – the motorcycle racing game Speed Rider 4DX and the kid-friendly light-gun game Mini World. Let’s take a look at both of these in case you had missed the info about them previously.
Speed Rider 4DX
Starting with the more notable of the two, IGS’ fourth entry in their Speed Rider series was first seen at the AAA 2025 show in China at the Baohui booth, then later came to IAAPA 2025. There was a little bit of confusion on this one as Sega Amusements had first announced that they would carrying the game, but then clarification came along that they are carrying it in the UK and parts of Europe, while Bandai Namco is selling it in North America.

This arcade exclusive motorcycle racer features fantastic 4K 60FPS graphics, a 4.1ch surround sound system, 8 upgradable bikes to choose from, “12 unique tracks across 6 iconic cities”, a camera system, a giant RGB LED billboard for the marquee, and perhaps most importantly, a new controller platform that really sets this apart from other cycle racers. Aside from using a swivel bike controller with some cool animated RGB LED effects and a lean sensor for activating the boost function, this employs a first ever drifting mechanic where by activating the brake, it unlocks the bike and it actually slides, while the virtual bike on-screen will drift. It’s a cool mechanic and not something you can get at home.
In asking a distributor about this, expect pricing to fall in around $36k. Read more about it on the official game page.
Mini World Motion
This gun game for kids by China’s Superwin was also at IAAPA, setup in a way that is interesting for what we’ve seen out of many gun games in recent years – it’s in an environmental cabinet with a motion seat (as a bench, not individual seats), and it unusually offers three player support instead of the typical two. The game itself is aimed at kids and is based off of an existing IP in China, although I’ve never checked it out to see exactly what it does differently.

According to a distributor I asked, these are selling for approximately $20k; price might vary from one distributor to another. You can visit the game page for this one here. Here’s what I played of this one at IAAPA:
Now that these are available, would you like to see your local arcade add them to their game floors? The comment section is working again, so feel free to leave a note!
