It’s not every game release where we hear about an arcade manufacturer officially launching a new game to the world – often games will just start showing up at certain places with zero fanfare to accompany them. There are times however that game launches are given some proper press releases, which is the case today with Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade by LAI Games.
Per this press release today, the game is officially shipping in “North and South America” to those who have placed orders; It also mentions high demand for the game to the point that it sounds like it may entail a wait to receive orders that were further along the line.
In case you missed out on the coverage regarding this game, it is based upon the console/mobile game of the same name, but has been heavily customized to fit with the needs & demands of the arcade – all of the microtransactions in the game have been removed, and several other aspects of the game have changed, making it exclusive to arcades. The arcade version was developed by IGS and was made available in certain Asian territories earlier this year through Wahlap, while LAI Games is handling all of the Western distribution for it. They have it available in two models, Premium and DX, the only difference between the two being the motion simulation aspect:

ASPHALT 9 LEGENDS ARCADE RACES INTO VENUES
Dallas, December 2, 2021 – LAI Games has begun shipping its new racing simulator, Asphalt 9 Legends Arcade, to venues across North and South America. The Premium Cabinet has all the same features as the 5D Simulator except the motion base, offering a thrilling experience in a smaller footprint.
