Here’s some pretty good news for one arcade company to talk about, Incredible Technologies (makers of Golden Tee and Silver Strike Bowling) has been named by the National Association for Business Resources one of Chicago’s “101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For”. This is not an entity within the arcade industry so it’s a great recognition for IT that they are quite excited about. Incredible Technologies Named One of Chicago’s “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For”

Industry Leader Announces Hiring of Four New Specialists

(July 24, 2008 – Arlington Heights, IL)  If one were to rank companies within the amusement industry solely by sales, Incredible Technologies would earn the top spot as the largest manufacturer of coin-operated video games in the U.S.  But in these ever-changing times size isn’t everything.  Sometimes it’s the little things that matter most.  And when it comes to attracting and retaining employees, IT has a proven formula of success.

“We give our employees the tools to succeed,” said Cory Christensen, IT’s director of human resources.  “We also provide an environment that’s casual and non-threatening, but within a structure that encourages and rewards top effort.”

The 101 Best and Brightest Awards are hosted by the National Association for Business Resources.  The NABR employs an independent research firm to evaluate each company’s entry in the following categories: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection, work-life balance and small business.

“The companies on our list demonstrate a real commitment and dedication to their employees. The best practices and innovative human resource initiatives that were shown should inspire others to look for new ways that recognize employees as their greatest assets. The NABR is proud to serve as a catalyst for high standards in human resources and to recognize companies that achieve success,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president.

“It’s gratifying to be recognized with this prestigious award,” Christensen said.  “It means you’re on the right track, and our goal at IT is to always keep moving forward.”

The company will be feted at a luncheon on August 4th at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook.
