The Galloping Ghost Arcade in Brookfield, IL has continued to make waves – from having several world records set at the location, to creating a cool Achievements system, to reaching over 1,000 Facebook fans to getting a brief exposé done about them by a TV show called 190N. It’s not often that arcades are given attention like this on TV shows, so it’s great when they do get an opportunity like this. In that video, they dedicate a few minutes to showing the arcade in action and to top it off, they show a little bit of the arcade game they have been working on, something we’ve covered on here multiple times called Dark Presence. Unfortunately they don’t really show the game in action but you do get to see the spot where some of the filming takes place, in case there are still doubts as to the validity of the game’s development.
BTW- Speaking of videos, Barrie Ellis sent me a link to a post about the Under The Pier show and some innovative games made by Tim Hunkin. We’ve covered the Under The Pier show in the past, if you missed it though, check the link
It it cool to see the arcade get some coverage. Kotaku had an article about this too.
