Amusement Expo 2026 is here, and we’re getting some big new game unveilings at the show again this year. This first one today is based on another big IP, and is one of two new titles revealed for exA-Arcadia – AVATAR LEGENDS: The Fighting Game. Let’s see what this one is about:
AVATAR LEGENDS
Announced for every console gaming platform + Steam last year, this game brings the popular anime series to the fighting game scene. Characters include Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, and Toph. Developed by Gameplay Group International, the Steam description states:
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is a fast-paced 1v1 fighter where you battle as your favorite characters from the Avatar franchise. Featuring hand-drawn 2D animation true to the series’ roots, proprietary rollback netcode, and full cross-play for smooth, competitive gameplay.
AVATAR LEGENDS IN ARCADES
Much like they did with Hunter x Hunter, exA-Arcadia has licensed this and is bringing it out on their platform. All versions will be launching this summer, with the exA version offering the full game (which is DLC for consoles) first. It also enjoys the faster input that is typical of exA games (i.e., low input lag), exA’s enhanced graphics rendering engine, and comes with an art package for converting the cabinet.

As mentioned, the game is making its debut today at Amusement Expo 2026 in Las Vegas, NV. I did get a chance to play it, which I recorded here with a new camera:
As mentioned, this will be made available worldwide this Summer, so any location with an exA-Arcadia system can offer this to their players. It’s not alone in other licensed titles too, such as the aforementioned Hunter X Hunter or Baki Hanma Blood Arena. There’s one other big IP that will be unveiled later today on the exA (and one other soon from Blue Motion Games), so stay tuned for that!
