Sega’s Operation G.H.O.S.T. now available in the US

This was a bit of a surprise as I didn’t expect the news on this until further down the road. One of our partners, BMI Gaming informed me that Sega Amusements USA has now begun to produce their newest light-gun shooter, Operation G.H.O.S.T., making it available for purchase (I am sure that this guy will be excited to hear the news). There are two models available: a 42″ and 55″ monitor version. BMI is listing them at $8875 and $14,875. This is a sequel to the popular G.H.O.S.T. Squad which was released in 2004.

For more information on the game you can read up on it on our Operation GHOST page. I also have moved it up to the released column on our 2011 Games Watch page.

In case you missed it as well, here is the trailer Sega put together for the game some time ago.

I would be interested to have confirmation that the game is the completed play version.

When I completed the game at EAS last month it was revealed that there was only two three operational levels with a ‘To be Continued’ sign before the forth!

    – European Train
    – NY office
    – African road
    …no ship

This was a surprise to a number of the sales team at Sega that watched me complete the game as they thought it had all the levels!

There’s got to be more levels surely, maybe that were the beta version you played. Can’t wait to have ago on this when it comes out 🙂
