New Rhythm Game NEON FM Begins Location Test At Red Zone Adventures in Maryland

A few weeks ago I found out about a new rhythm game by the name of NEON FM that has been in development for a while by a company called Unit-E. They were not a part of the IAAPA festivities last week, preferring instead to get ready for a location test at a lazer tag/arcade in Timonium, MD by the name of Red Zone Adventures. That test is now active so if you live anywhere near that venue you can go and check it out. I also presume that you can provide feedback on the game in some way to the developers.

Here are two videos from the loctest:

Also here is a direct feed video of the game to demonstrate how the scoring in the game works.

So far the release for this is still “Winter 2013” as far as I have heard. Presumably the location test will help determine the release date based on total plays, changes that may need to be made, etc. Either way I think it will be available soon and helping fill the arcade rhythm game space with a new combatant.

Nice! Looks like the IGS Percussion Master game, but cooler!
