The proverbial floodgates have opened on videos taken at AOU2009 and here is a collection of some of the video titles. We won’t know for a little while if any of these games will be released internationally or not so we’ll just have to wait and see.
Elevator Action: Death Parade – Finally, we get to see this in action. The elevator doors opening and closing is an interesting touch (especially where they integrate it into the gameplay where one player hits the close door button and the other shoots at an enemy that is trying to open the doors) and the graphics look pretty good but I was hoping that there would be some sort of side-scrolling mode in this to be a little like the original but I suppose I was hoping for too much there.
King of Fighters XII – I noticed that they have this in Vewlix cabinets that are similar to the ones used with BlazBlue.
Daemon Bride – looks pretty nice in motion, I can see where Arcana Heart has influenced it but this looks better.
DeathSmiles 2 – it’s just as crazy looking as expected, and thus it should be fun.
Project Cerebus – another 2D fighter, this might be the one by Sega I discussed briefly on another post
Parse Rorunpe – I had forgotten about this broom-flying magic game that we had talked about months ago. I still wouldn’t be surprised to see something like this turned into a Harry Potter Quidditch game or something.
Hopping Road – Booth babes playing the cutesy pogo stick game. I’m sure this one would do well in the US if they released it here.
Border Break – this seems to be generating a bit of excitement so what the heck.
