Having teased it for months, Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix have rolled out the latest content update to their Big Buck Hunter: Reloaded arcade machines. This adds the Mountain Goat and three new bonus games to all online connected cabinets that are out there, so let’s see what those will bring to the Big Buck hunting experience.
Big Buck Hunter Reloaded: The Mountain Goat
With this update, BBH: Reloaded now has twelve huntable animals and thirty-six bonus games. For the main attraction of the former addition, a lot of the marketing is inevitably playing up to the other definition of “goat” (i.e. Greatest of All Time), which it truly is in a way, since it won the BBH community vote:
This was originally due in Spring, with the update first announced back at BuckFest 2025 last October and promoted this March at Amusement Expo 2026, but it is now reaching us at the start of the summer. It is unusual for a BBH update to be teased so far in advance, but there’s nothing wrong with long fan hype.
As well as that, the other new addition to BBH: Reloaded with this latest update is three brand new bonus games: Midway Mayhem, Critter Construction, and Turkey Time. These are centered around a carnival midway target shooting range, a construction site full of various critters, and a run-in with various turkeys, respectively.
They are also putting on a kind of sweepstakes where players can get a limited edition T-Shirt. You need a Pro account (which is free) to be eligible to get this.
Paired with the mountain goat, those should keep Big Buck fans across the land happy – while not a full, new-new version of the game, it is good to see more content rolling in and livening up Reloaded. This has been available since Thursday through all online connected cabinets, although it may not have downloaded fully until today (that’s what happened with mine), so if you have one of those near you, it should be there to try out now.
