So Saturday I went to the Game On Exhibition at the London Science Museum in South Kensington, and suffice to say it was awesome. You only get an hour and a half in there, which is a bit of a bummer because literally every console and cabinet had some one on it. This basically meant I had to lurk over the game I wanted to play until my fellow geek got the message. The expo starts off with old school arcade; Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Missile Command, Galaga, Pong and so on, then the rooms are split in to, not eras as you may think, but genres that the exhibitors have decided on, like; Sound, Game Families, Games Culture, Multiplayer and many others. I would hazard a guess that there must be over 200 different games there. The last area was by far the most popular as it had Guitar Hero, Table Tennis and Wii Sports on massive screens next to each other, oh and there was something called a PlayStation 3 there. They even had a 4 player Halo 2, which some dude beat me at in the last second of the game, damn Plasma Sword! Also there was a Saturn Bomberman hooked up, which was as hectic as always. Definitely recommend checking it out, although I would try go during the week as it maybe easier to play the games you want without lurking.
