Among the new game announcements we have seen this year, Sega’s next light-gun game, Transformers: Human Alliance is one we have been patiently waiting on for more details. We first found out about when a Sega-owned Chinese division spilled the beans on a location test for the game in China then in July Sega put a teaser trailer for the game up on Youtube. I got a chance to see the cabinet, from when the game showed up at a small amusement industry get-together in August (in case anyone missed the description, it was mostly yellow, 42″ HD display, mounted guns with chrome plating and some backlit multi-color LED art on the sides of the monitor), but I didn’t get the image to share.
Today Sega Amusements posted something new about the game on their Facebook page that goes as follows:
20,000 likes! Thanks everyone! To celebrate we are going to give you a chance to see some of Transformers Human Alliance in action for the first time! LIKE to see the England stage or SHARE to see the Africa stage! Which ever is highest we will share a video of that stage next week!
You can visit their Facebook page here. At the time of this writing,England is well ahead with many likes, Africa only has one share. From the picture above, the Africa level looks more colorful but if voting continues as it is, I imagine we will have to wait until IAAPA2013 (a major trade show in Orlando, FL where we will likely get our first hands-on chance with the game) to get a full peek. Otherwise, its great to see Sega keeping up on the social media hype for a title. They really started to do that with their last light-gun title, Dream Raiders.
