It goes without saying that Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution arcade series has been a phenomenon all over the world since it was introduced in the late 90s. Interest has picked up again here in the US as many locations have been getting their hands on the new DDR A but it never went away in Japan. This short documentary by VICE News takes a look at the DDR craze in Tokyo, interviewing top players like Takaske and what they do to train for the frequent competitions that they participate in.
