At the end of August this year, we were sent a tip showing a new video game in the works by Team Play Inc. – Family Guy Bowling. We haven’t heard much about the game since that time but with IAAPA 2017 coming up next week, the curtain is being pulled back a little more on the game as it will be at the show.

I first caught notice of this while flipping through the November issue of Replay Magazine. Team Play was kind enough to send along an image of the flyer. While short on game details, this is our best look yet at the cabinet, which follows the “showcase” style of letting operators use their own monitor. According to Team Play, the game will “ship with a 65″ or 50″ LCD Screen, but you can purchase a version without the TV.” No MSRP has been unveiled yet but generally games in Showcase configurations tend to be very competitive on price.

Beyond that I was able to find out a little more about the game.
- It features 8 playable characters from the show.
- There are TV clips from the show that play in attract mode, before and after each game.
- You can play up to 4 players at a time, and host local tournaments with up to 8 players.
- It will start shipping at the end of 2017.
