The TouchFX as seen at EAG 2011
One of the nice surprises about IAAPA this past November was the appearance of a new product by Adrenaline Amusements, a company based out of Toronto, Canada. It was called TouchFX and it offered something different than most everything else on the show floor with a multi-touch 46″ screen along with the promise of multiple games, optional ticket redemption and up to 3 screens attached to one cabinet. They said that it would be coming in Jaunary and we’ve been waiting to hear something about the release, which has now been confirmed by the company’s official Youtube channel, which was launched about a month ago. Here’s a new promotional video they’ve put together for the TouchFX showing off it’s launch title, Fruit Ninja FX – the Adrenaline Amusements website also shows that they will be adding Half-Brick’s Age of Zombies to the platform soon. If their Youtube favorites are any indication, they might also be adding games by Gamerizon but we’ll have to wait for an announcement on that.
